The item listed is a Vector Graphic 12K PROM/RAM board. Rather than using the Flashwriter IIvideo board, the monitor is configured to use the Bitstreamer II serial Port A as its console.The status is at 03h and data is at 02h with an input mask of 02h and an output mask of 01h, so anyserial card set to these parameters will work. The PROM/RAM is configured to the VG standardaddress of E000h. At power-on, the board jumps to E000h and brings up the monitor.
Socket 11 on the board is a socket for programming other 2708s. However, I have not had anysuccess in getting the prom burn software to work successfully with either of the two PROM/RAM boardsthat I have owned. The software hangs and the resistor R7 on the board overheats.Perhaps someone else will have more success with getting the software to work.
The only guarantee I make about the board is that it boots up into the monitor and works at the time of sale.
