Using modconf I was able to load successfully usb_storage on my system but scsi_mod seems not included in the list of modules proposed.
Is there an other way to check if it is present or not among the available modules as browsing through each category one per one?

The module I loaded with modconf is no longer listed in lsmod after a reboot.
