Disable HDD detection while USB booting ??

Dear Knoppix User ,

Is any boot cheat code to disable HDD detection ?
I want to disable HDD access while i booting from my Knoppix USB and i want to access only MY USB Files (NOT HDD Files ) .
How can i do it ?

If you have only one Partition on your HDD you may boot on an ".ISO File" present on the "HDD_ROOT".
This process authorizes you to access your "USB_device" with "the HDD_iso" HIDDEN ( If only 1 partition on it).
Moreover,if you need it later, you may access afterwards your "HDD_iso" using "DOLPHIN" for example.
This process MAY make loosing an eventual "CONFIGURATION saved on your USB device".
I suppose you need YOUR own "CONFIG"!
Until Knoppix 5.5 (as long as I knew!) accessing "Partitions devices" was NOT AUTOMATIC in "WRITE MODE" but Manually.
I "regretted" that in Knoppix_6.
Surely one cannot expect a system preventing all situations.
Knoppix 7.is very good (aside from opening HDD directly in the "Write Mode"...a minor inconvenient!)

I am a junior member and know few things on konppix.
I am rarely connected but shall be soon to see the evolution of your problem (surprising however!).

I want to generate knoppix USB in my home that when i booted from it , i could not access to my HDD Partitions Automatically !
How can i do this without kernel customise compiling ?

1-What do you mean by:
1a- "generate" knoppix which is yet installed?
1b- "my home"? This term has a strict sense in Knoppix's_OS.In
particular it can be choosen and modified
at any time and on anyone HDD_partitions,usb included) once
knoppix is working.completely.
2-Really why do you need NO_HDD_ACCESS?
3-I know nothing about compiling
4-If you do'nt get a good help you have the EXTREME SOLUTION by
materially disconnecting your HDD because you seem to wish
NEVER ACCESSING TO IT during your knoppix_session.
Such a method is not very convenient nevertheless.
5- Have you tried a multi_OS installation via GRUB?

Short answer: no!

Each Knoppix CD/DVD contains the newest cheatcode list. Why not have a look at it?
