Problem with e1000.o driver
Hi folks,
I have a Dell computer with the onboard Intel NIC, which uses the e1000.o driver. (It's a gigabit NIC) Knoppix 3.1 won't load the driver (it gives me several insmod errors on bootup
), but other Knoppix versions like Morphix and Pilot Linux work fine setting up the NIC on boot.
Can I somehow use a NIC driver from one of these other distros?
Other suggestions???
Thanks,
Craig
