viewing my program that i use on xp with my knoppix os

i want to know how or where i go to open up my programs that i use in microsoft xp like my mirc and aim and all of the above

You can't run Windows XP programs from Linux (well, you can with Wine, but it isn't worth it for IRC and IM).

Try using Gaim to connect to AIM. Not sure of a good IRC client for Linux, though.

wats gaim and how can i get and where besides i can't connect to the net with knoppix live cd i don't know how to make recognice my ool(optimum online)
