New version?

After starting with Knoppix a few months back, I was startled by the quickness and timeliness of releases. However, things seemed to have slacked off recently, and it has been right at six weeks since the last "official" Knoppix release...while KnoppixKDE looks good, it has some deficiencies compared to the "official" release (*cough* OpenOffice *cough*).

Any word on when we might expect a new "official" release?

The statement made earlier was that the new version (3.2 -- finally!) would be released at the same time as the CeBIT show in Hanover; that is, mid-March.

I get the impression that Mr. K has, to some extent, been a victim of his own success; the positive attention that Knoppix has (rightly) earned him has cut into the time available to actually WORK on it. That, and I'm sure he has a life (at least I HOPE so).

I, too, am waiting with bated breath...
