I've been playing around with the terminal server and I was reading the PXE doc and when I got to the point about openofice running slow I because it was a Fat client it got me.

what is the differnece between a fat and thin client? Does a fat client download the everything then run it itself? And does a thin client hav ehte server run everthing? Also why would you want one over the other.
