i have a dell inspirion 5100 with the factory installed wifi card, has nother nic as well.. it finds one of them eth0 but i cant connect on wifi

i am not sure what i am doing, i think it is a setup problem and just need little help.. this looks really kewl and look forward to working with it


also on nother note i have an older ibm thinkpad that i want to install linux on, it only has two gig hd and thirty two meg ram, is there version i can install on it.....
