Which is better for remastering Knoppix?

Hard Drive installed version that has be tweaked to the User's specs compressed into an ISO

The Chroot method.
I can use to chroot method, I hav a Dynamic IP and my Internet Provider won't give me my DNS because of "security reasons". So I'll have to try the HD method myself.
