Original mid-1960s George A. Philbrick Researches, Inc. technical sales literature lot for Philbrick electronic analog computing equipment. The main catalog is titled Philbrick Electronic Analog Computing Equipment for Modelling Measuring Manipulating and Much Else. Also included are the separate Philbrick service and representative directory brochure titled A Directory on How to Do Business with Philbrick and the Services Offered, plus the separate Price List dated 1 August 1964. All three pieces are three-hole punched for binder use.


This is an excellent piece of early electronic computing and operational amplifier history. George A. Philbrick Researches, Inc. was one of the key American firms in the development and commercial use of analog computers and modular operational amplifiers. Before digital simulation became routine, engineers used analog computing equipment to represent real-world quantities as continuous electrical voltages, then used amplifier modules, integrators, adders, multipliers, dividers, function generators, and power supplies to model differential equations, control systems, laboratory processes, aerospace problems, industrial systems, and other dynamic phenomena.

The interior pages are generally clean with light toning, minor handling wear, shallow waviness, and small edge and corner creases. The price list is cleaner and whiter overall, with light edge wear, small creases, and normal wear around the punched holes. No writing or owner markings are visible in the photographed areas.
