1984 128K motherboard with original early ROM set, and original 128K RAM never modified or upgraded! Many of these original 1984 Macs were upgraded to 512K RAM or higher and larger capacity disk drive, but this one is still all original! Very rare to find one like this now 42 years later that is still all original exactly as it came from Apple in 1984!

Smoke-free climate-controlled use and storage, no smoke or old musty odors absorbed into the cardboard box or manuals or any of the other included items which cannot be removed and greatly detract from condition and value, but of coursecannotbe identified from online photos, so make sure you know before you invest. All photos are of the exact items the lucky buyer will receive.

The Macintosh computer was first introduced with the famous Orwellian \"1984\" commercial during Super Bowl XVIII on January 22, 1984; and was the very first reasonably affordable personal/home computer to utilize a mouse and a Graphical User Interface (GUI) with desktop icons.

Macintosh system unit- (Model M0001)- Week 38 of 1984 production as decoded from the serial # on the Mac that starts with F438 which decodes as: F= Fremont, CA plant, 4= 1984, 38 = 38th week of the year which was mid-September. Serial # on the Mac matches the original serial # label on the side of the original retail box so this is the full set just as it came from Apple way back in 1984! NON-Upgraded original Macintosh 128K motherboard still inside, never upgraded or modified!

Mac is the original beige/cream color, some minor typical discoloration from age but not heavily yellowed. No marker writing, no stickers, no cracks or missing parts. There is a faint sticker outline on the front, likely had a dealer sticker on it when new, and the original owner\'s name and number is engraved into the top case below the handle area as shown. Has some other minor imperfections as expected for a nearly 42-year-old pre-owned vintage computer, a few small nicks on the side seams. Very hard to find now in this nice clean overall cosmetic condition especially complete in the original matching #\'s Apple retail box!

NO corrosion to the clock memory battery compartment on the rear, many will have heavily corroded contacts from old batteries being left in which leak out and cause internal damage to the Mac, this one is clean! All four original rubber feet still on bottom of Mac and clean, not sticky. Screen display is bright, crisp, and stable with no burn-in or scratches on the glass. Steve Jobs and the original Macintosh design teams molded signatures inside the rear case housing.

Sony 400K Single-Sided Internal Disk Drive- Disk insert and eject mechanism has just now been fully cleaned and properly re-lubricated, so disks go in and out smoothly as designed. Drive head cleaned so disks read properly. Original Macs are totally dependent on the floppy drive as there is no hard drive, so a properly serviced and tested disk drive like this one is essential for original intended use given the age. If you risk buying an original Mac with a non-serviced drive it will likely be locked up with the old dried out lubricant and unable to insert/eject disks, or read disks, among other possible problems. This drive functions just like new again!

Original 1984 Apple Macintosh keyboard- (Model # M0110)w/original coiled keyboard cable. Week 29 of 1984 production as decoded from the serial # starting with G429 (4=1984, 29 = week 29). Original Picasso cardboard sleeve and nice clean white foam holders with embossed Apple logo, foam not cracked or broken. The original clear shrink-wrap is even still over the sleeve except on end where it was opened!Original keyboard cable is clean and tightly coiled like new, not all stretched out like heavily used ones, prong ends not broken so stay firmly in place. Original rubber feet on bottom of keyboard clean and not sticky. All keys are clean and fully functional, every single key tested working to register input when connected to this Macintosh!

Original 1984 Apple Macintosh one-button mouse- (Model # M0100) Original square style plug connector. Week 34 of 1984 production as decoded from the serial # starting with G434 (4=1984, 34 = week 34). Original Picasso cardboard sleeve and nice clean white foam holders with embossed Apple logo, foam not cracked or broken. The original clear shrink-wrap is even still over the sleeve except on end where it was opened! Mouse rolls smoothly and works perfectly with this Mac.

1984 Macintosh Picasso Accessory Kit- Rare original Mac white plastic Picasso Accessory Kit box. Nice clean white color, not yellowed or discolored, corners not cracked or broken. The included original disks are all tested and working on this Macintosh with the freshly serviced internal disk drive! Includes all of the following:

Apple Macintosh Original Retail Box- Original serial# label on the box matches the serial # label on the Macintosh! Date code stamped inside the box under the bottom box flap is \"6-84\" as shown, indicating the box was made by the manufacturer in June of 1984.

Box includes both the original top and bottom internal white Styrofoam that holds the Mac in nice, clean and white undamaged condition, top not cracked or broken. Top foam has the large Apple embossed logo where the Picasso accessory kit box is placed.

Box is in excellent condition considering the age of nearly 42 years and it is the box this Mac was originally shipped in from Apple in 1984! Original UPS label on top of box dated 9/20/84 originating from Apple in Sunnyvale, California with shipping cost of only $6.27! That is just after this Mac was produced in week 38 of the 1984! Original address label is partially missing but show this Mac was shipped to Colorado Springs, CO.

Box is overall very nice clean and solid! Perfect to prominently display. Has writing on the one face of the box as shown. Not torn or ripped, all box top flaps are fully attached, box not all taped over like many were. The box side carry handles are NOT torn through as is commonly seen on these original Mac boxes from age and weight of contents. Very rare to find one like this with side carry handles not torn through!

Most of these 1984 Macintosh boxes are long gone now so many years later, or in much worse condition than this one considering it the box the Mac originally shipped in and has remained with this matching # Mac all this time! Ready for prominent display in your Apple or vintage computer collection!
