This is a nice system to get into (or back into) Atari RETRO computing in 8 bit. System includes the 8-bit 600LX computer, original power supply, RF connector for connection with RF ready TV set (TV is NOT INCLUDED). The computer is pretty clean and WORKS. Package also includes the original box the computer came in, adding to this nice piece of history. The 600XL has ATARI BASIC built in. You can download lots of free information on Atari Basic on line with simple searches. Along with this system you will also get (hold on to your hats...) Four computer novels. These little novels were the rage when computers first hit the market. You read the story and as you come upon an exciting section, you then have to use your computer (usually in basic) to write a short program to get you out of trouble or to move on. Of course you can write your own programs in BASIC for the fun of it as well. The 600 XL has a port on the top for you to plug in game carts, which are also available on line.
