**** ATTENTION! NO SID CHIP! ****From my collection, this rare Commodore 64C, personally signed by renowned video game musician Jeroen Tel, is now looking for a new home. Jeroen Tel is known for his music in games such as Cybernoid 1 & 2, Eliminator, Savage, Dan Dare 3, Golden Axe, Stormlord, Tintin on the Moon, Supremacy, and many others.
Jeroen personally signed this Commodore for me at a meeting in 2012. Since then, the computer has remained unused.
It has never undergone retrobright treatment. At some point, I donated its original SID chip to another Commodore, so this C64 is now looking for a suitable replacement to bring its sound back to life.
The computer is fully functional except for the sound -the SID sound chip is missing (therefore it is being sold as faulty/damaged).
This is the screwless 1992 version with a clip-on keyboard. The upper-right case latch is cracked, but the computer still holds together securely.
The original Commodore brick-style power supply is included. It is the version with a replaceable fuse. No video cable is included.
You will receive:
The computer has been tested: BASIC works, all keys respond, and several games have also been tested. Both joystick ports are fully functional. Scrolling, sprites and effects in demos work without problems.
The price reflects the rarity of this particular item. It would ideally go to a fan or collector who appreciates the uniqueness of this C64 and may want to restore it to full working order.
The computer will be carefully and securely packaged for shipping.
