This is a UK-market Commodore Amiga 500, made in West Germany, offered as a repair project or source of spare parts. This machine is here with me in Wyoming.
It powers on but displays a green screen and does not boot. The (green) power LED repeats a sequence of ten short flashes followed by one long flash. The cause has not been diagnosed, and no particular repair is being promised.
The internal floppy drive has been run with a cleaning disk. The drive spins and sounds normal with a regular disk, but its ability to read or write disks has not been verified because the computer does not boot.
The case has significant damage, including broken and missing plastic at the front-left corner and at the rear corner beside the mono video connector. The keyboard has yellowing, and the machine has dirt, dust and general surface wear. Please look closely at the photographs, especially the detailed pictures of the damaged areas.
I have decided to leave this one as a project for its next owner. The RF shield has not been removed for a motherboard inspection, and the machine has not undergone my usual full cleaning or comprehensive testing.

Cosmetic notes and condition
Known issues
The computer does not boot and is being sold as parts or not working condition. The green screen and flashing power LED are the observed symptoms. They do not establish what has failed. Further faults may become apparent during diagnosis.
This is a project for someone comfortable troubleshooting vintage computers, or a donor for another restoration.
Display compatibility
This is a UK-market machine, expected to be PAL. Its internal video configuration has not been verified. Please ensure that your intended display and any video adapter or scaler support the appropriate Amiga output.
Please examine all the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
Every system undergoes comprehensive functional testing, including a minimum four-hour soak test.
Machines are not recapped solely because of age. Capacitors are replaced only where testing identifies a fault or as part of a full restoration, using high-quality solid polymer capacitors.
Retr0bright is rarely performed and only when genuinely necessary. If a machine has been Retr0brighted, it will always be clearly stated in the listing.
Original parts are retained wherever practical. Components are replaced only where necessary to restore reliable operation or prevent future failure.
Any known faults, cosmetic defects or deviations from original specification will always be clearly identified in the listing.
