January 2026 marked the 42nd Anniversary of the introduction of this first ever Apple Macintosh computer, the original Mac Model M0001 with 128K RAM!The original Mac was introduced with the famous Orwellian '1984' commercial during the Super Bowl on January 22, 1984 and was the very first reasonably affordable personal computer to use a mouse and a Graphical User Interface (GUI) with desktop icons.
This very EARLY Macintosh unit was produced during week 6 of 1984 as decoded from the serial # label on the Mac that begins with F406 (F= Fremont, CA production plant, 4= 1984, 06 = 06th week of year) indicating this Mac was produced in early February 1984, just after the Mac was first announced! The Macintosh was first introduced and launched in late January 1984. Original 'Macintosh' emblem and Model M0001 label on rear (very late 1984 production M0001 Macs had a revised 'Macintosh 128k' emblem starting sometime during week 47 of production, all Macs before then had this original "Macintosh" emblem).

Macintosh system unit - (Model M0001)- Original NON-UPGRADED 128K RAM Motherboard with early 1984 ROM chip set with date codes 403 and 404 indicating week 3 and week 4 of 1984 production! The early CPU is date coded 8351 indicating it was produced in week 51 of 1983 before the Mac first launched! Also, this early unit has the rare Apple logo RAM chips, later Macs did not have the Apple logo RAM chips.

Early original 400K Sony single-sided internal floppy disk drive with date sticker of JANUARY 1984 as shown, indicating the drive is a very early production unit and is original to this early 1984 Mac! This Mac also has the original external Model M0001 128K case housing and emblems. Many of these early Macs were upgraded to Mac 512K or Plus units, and therefore are now missing the original internal parts or have been modified. This Mac is ALL genuine original exactly as it came from Apple in early 1984!! This has all the original case emblems and label, upgraded Macs often had the label and emblems updated as well. This is a survivor that is very rare and hard to find now 42 years later!

Mac is the original beige/cream color, not darkly yellowed, mismatched, marked up, cracked, or damaged like many are now. No marker writing, no stickers, no old sticker outlines, no cracks or missing parts, no engravings, only some minor imperfections as expected due to previous usage and age. Very hard to find now in this very nice clean cosmetic condition. Perfect to put on prominent display in a collection!

NO ugly pry marks to any of the case seams, which greatly detracts from appearance and value. Many original Macs seen now have large nicks and chips all along the seams that connect to front face to the back case, but often is not shown, or cannot be seen in photos. Macs that were improperly pried apart along the case seams with the wrong tools to open will have ugly gouges and large nicks on the plastic case seams, but this one does not.

Screen is bright, crisp, and stable, no scratches on the glass 9" black and white CRT display. All four original rubber feet on bottom of case and clean, not sticky or melted like many found now are. Inside of Macintosh case is exceptionally clean, no corrosion, no dirt or dust, properly stored. NO corrosion in the rear clock battery compartment.

Original Sony 400K Single-Sided Internal Disk Drive - JANUARY 1984 label on the drive as shown, very early production drive and original to this Mac! Disk insert and eject mechanism serviced, cleaned and re-lubed so disks go in and out smoothly just like new again! Drive read/write head cleaned and tested.

Included original Macintosh disks load, run, and eject as expected. Original Macs are completely dependent on the internal floppy drive, as there is no hard drive, so having a properly serviced and tested floppy disk drive like this Mac is essential for actual use of the system. Most found now will have non-functioning drives that need extensive service or complete replacement, and these early drives in working condition are very hard to find now.

1984 Apple Macintosh keyboard - (Model # M0110) Week 10 of 1984 production as decoded from the serial # starting with G410 (4=1984, 10 = week 10). Original beige/cream color, nice clean condition. Includes original curled flexible keyboard cable with undamaged prong clip connectors on each end (clips not broken off like many are that will not firmly connect or stay in place), coil cable nice and tight, not stretched out like heavily used worn ones. All four original rubber feet still on bottom, clean, excellent condition.

ALL keys are clean and functional, no dust or dirt between keys. EVERY single key has been tested to register working on the display of this Macintosh!

1984 Apple Macintosh one-button mouse - (Model # M0100) Week 10 of 1984 production as decoded from the serial # starting with G410 (4=1984, 10 = week 10). Original beige/cream color, clean and nice. Original early square style mouse connector with large screw in knobs to attach securely to the Mac. Mouse ball removed and cleaned, cable undamaged, rolls smoothly, and works perfectly.

Original Picasso Mac Accessory Kit - Rare original Mac white plastic Picasso Accessory Kit box. Nice clean undamaged condition, bright white original color not yellowed or discolored. NO cracks to the corners of the lid or bottom tray outer conners like many found now have, one inside corner has a split in the plastic. Apple logos are embossed into inside tray. IncludesApple Macintosh Picasso cardboard cord sleeve,A Guided Tour of Macintosh and MacWrite/MacPaint audio cassette in original case, and the original Apple logo angled- head connector Macintosh power cord!
