Selling my Lenovo ThinkPad T420. If you know these laptops, you know why people still love them this generation has the legendary 7-row ThinkPad keyboard (with the classic blue Enter key) that is absolute heaven to type on, built like a tank, and super easy to upgrade. This one is a step up from the common base models because it has the faster Intel Core i7-2640M processor rather than the usual i5, along with 6GB of RAM and a 500GB drive.I gave it a fresh, clean install of Windows 10 Pro, so it’s completely wiped and ready for the next owner to set up their own account right out of the box. Great reliable daily beater, distraction-free typing machine, or a fun project box for Linux.Quick Specs:
• Processor: Intel Core i7-2640M @ 2.80 GHz
• RAM: 6 GB
• Storage: 500 GB
• Operating System: Windows 10 Pro (64-bit, fresh install)
• Screen: 14\" matte anti-glare screen
• Keyboard: Classic 7-row layout + TrackPoint
• Extras: Fingerprint scanner, DVD drive, extended batteryCondition Notes:
• Functionality: Works great! Boots up without issues, charges fine, screen is bright and even with no obvious flaws, and all the keys type nicely.
• Cosmetics: In good, clean shape for a 2011 machine, but it’s definitely been used. The rubberized lid has some typical light scuffs from being carried in a bag, and there is a shiny smooth spot on the center of the touchpad where fingers rested over the years (super common on these—see photos). No cracks or broken chassis pieces. What You Get:
• The ThinkPad T420 laptop itself
• The extended battery (installed) - currently doesn\'t hold any charge
• The original OEM Lenovo AC power adapter & wall cordIt’ll be packed securely with plenty of bubble wrap so it arrives safe and sound. Feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions or want me to check anything specific on it!
