For sale is a brand new, sealed ORICO 9948RC3 PRO 4-Bay RAID Hard Drive Enclosure featuring the upgraded JMS591 chipset and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface.

This updated PRO version uses an upgraded JMS591 controller that moves the enclosure from SATA 2.0 to SATA 3.0, substantially increasing the available internal drive bandwidth compared with earlier chipset versions. Combined with its 20Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 host interface, it is designed for much faster large-file transfers, video editing, backups, professional storage, and other high-bandwidth workflows.

With a compatible USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 or USB4 connection, the enclosure can take advantage of its full 20Gbps interface bandwidth. This is an important distinction from older versions that were limited by slower chipset and SATA connectivity.

The enclosure supports 6 storage modes: RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 10, JBOD, and Normal, giving you flexibility between performance, redundancy, and independent-drive configurations. It is also designed to remain compatible with RAID arrays created using certain older ORICO chipsets, helping make upgrades easier without necessarily rebuilding an existing array.

Four hot-swappable bays support both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA HDDs and SSDs, with support for drives up to 26TB each and a total capacity of up to 104TB.

The aluminum alloy chassis, large ventilation grille, and integrated low-noise cooling fan help dissipate heat during sustained workloads. A built-in 150W power supply provides stable power to all four drives without requiring a large external power brick.
