Sophos XGS 116 Firewall / Security Appliance – FOR PARTS OR REPAIR

This Sophos XGS 116 was removed from a commercial installation after it stopped functioning properly. It has been tested as described below and is being sold strictly AS-IS for parts or repair.

Testing / Known Condition

  • Unit does NOT boot or become operational
  • Rear power button illuminates red when power is connected
  • No front Status, Power 1/2, Ethernet/link, PoE or storage LEDs illuminate
  • Ethernet connection tested with no link/activity
  • Both DC IN 1 and DC IN 2 tested with the same result
  • Factory reset (>10 seconds) attempted with no response
  • Rear RJ45 COM/serial console tested at 38400 8-N-1 with no boot output
  • Power button tested with short and extended presses with no response
  • Included power supply tested with a multimeter and is providing proper output
  • Internal fault has NOT been diagnosed and no internal repairs have been attempted
