Ultra Rare Vintage IBM 3270 Personal Computer Wooden Floppy Disk Box Caddy DESCRIPTION:
Ultra Rare Vintage 1980s IBM 3270 Personal Computer Branded Wooden Floppy Diskette Storage BoxItem Overview:
Up for sale is an incredibly rare piece of computing history: an official, vintage IBM 3270 Personal Computer solid wood floppy disk storage box.Released in late 1983, the IBM 3270 PC (Model 5271) was an expensive, specialized enterprise workstation designed to bridge the gap between standalone MS-DOS computing and corporate IBM mainframes. Because these systems were sold almost exclusively to high-end corporate environments, official branded executive desk accessories like this laser-etched wooden disk box are exceptionally scarce today. This is a must-have piece for any serious IBM, retro-computing, or vintage tech collector looking to complete a period-correct, museum-grade workstation display.Features & Details:
• Branding: Features the iconic striped IBM logo along with the \"3270 Personal Computer\" text crisply routed/etched directly into the top lid.
• Material: Rich, solid hardwood construction with an authentic 1980s vintage finish.
• Function: Sized perfectly to house and organize standard 5.25-inch floppy disks or vintage tech media.
• Aesthetics: A beautiful, clean corporate aesthetic that perfectly captures the golden era of the 1980s PC revolution.Condition Report:
This item is in beautiful vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and office use. The wood grain looks fantastic, and the etched branding remains deep and highly legible. Please see all high-resolution photos to evaluate exact cosmetic condition.Note: The item will be packed with extreme care and shipped securely to ensure it arrives safely at your destination.
