Vintage UNIVAC Mainframe Computer Logic / Circuit Board – Assembly 2818418
Original vintage UNIVAC plug-in computer circuit board / logic assembly, believed to date from approximately 1979.
This large board is densely populated with period integrated circuits and incorporates multiple vertical daughterboard / component sections. It has large multi-pin connectors at both ends and retains its original \"STATIC SENSITIVE\" warning label.
Visible markings include:
UNIVAC
ASSY 2818418
2816391-00E
ELDRE 19648
79-04
03G 4179
STATIC SENSITIVE
The 79-04 markings and period electronic components are consistent with approximately 1979 manufacture, although the exact manufacturing date has not been independently confirmed.
This is an unusual surviving piece of vintage UNIVAC enterprise/mainframe computing hardware and an excellent example of late-1970s computer circuit-board construction.
Exact original UNIVAC system and circuit function have not been independently confirmed.
Would make an excellent addition to a UNIVAC/Sperry collection, vintage computer collection, computer-history display, museum collection, or collection of early enterprise computing hardware.
