This is the actual drive used extensively during our Apple IIgs testing. It has been fully tested and is working properly.
DescriptionOriginal Apple external 3.5-inch floppy drive featuring the classic platinum/beige enclosure and rainbow Apple logo.
This drive was connected to an Apple IIgs and used throughout our system testing. It successfully accepted and read 3.5-inch floppy disks and was used to load software during testing. Drive operation, disk access, and connection all worked properly.
The attached Apple 19-pin cable is intact and includes the original Apple-style connector. The rear of the drive also includes the additional 19-pin daisy-chain port.
Cosmetically, the drive presents very well for its age. There are minor marks and normal vintage wear.
