  1. Clean Battery Compartment: The bay is spotless with shiny, corrosion-free contacts.
  2. NEW Backup Coin Cell Installed: I have pre-installed a brand-new CR2032 Lithium coin cell battery. This crucial backup battery ensures your data and settings are safely preserved whenever you are swapping out the main AA batteries.

KEY FEATURES & CONTROLS:
  • Electroluminescent Backlight: The standout feature of the 130 model. Allows you to toggle a crisp, low-light backlight on or off for writing in dark environments.
  • Newton OS 2.0 Handwriting Recognition: Significantly improved over early versions, the OS learns your writing style over time, converts your handwriting into digital text, or lets you sketch naturally.
  • Hardware Controls & Ports: Includes a physical contrast slider adjustment on the side, an infrared (IR) beam transmitter/receiver for wireless data sharing with other Newtons, a serial data port for Mac/PC connections, and a mechanical lock/unlock switch for the main door cover.
