Vintage Apple iMac G3 M5521 PowerPC G3 500MHz 384MB RAM - No HDD, Bad CD Drive
Model: M5521
The unit powers on and boots properly.
The unit includes a PowerPC G3 500MHz CPU & 384MB of RAM.
The unit does NOT come with an HDD or OS.
The 4 HDD chassis screws are bagged and taped to the inside of the chassis.
The CD drive does not properly accept discs and will need to be replaced.
The unit plays the startup chime properly.
The speakers worked during testing, but have mold speckles all around the foam.
The speakers will likely need to be replaced.
Thehingesfor the outer plasticcase that sitbelow thedisplayare partially chipped. (See Photos)
The case still fits tightly and is not loose when screwed in.
During initial testing, thedisplay would occasionally flicker.
We had theunit running forabout 2 hours the nextday and it did not have this same issue, buttheissue could very wellcome backwith extended use as the CRT display is over20 years old.
The keyboard and mouse used to test the unit are not included with the listing.
The unit comes with the original power cord.
No additional cables or accessories are included with the listing.
The unit is used and has some scuffs and scrapes from normal wear.
Only what is pictured is included in this listing.
This unit is being sold AS IS for parts or repair.
