Vintage Hewlett-Packard HP Vectra XU 5/90 desktop computer.


The computer powers on, produces a video signal, and successfully completes the built-in Hewlett-Packard System Hardware Test. The diagnostic screen displays “System OK,” with all listed tests passed.


Specifications shown during testing:


* Intel Pentium 90MHz processor

* 32MB system memory

* Integrated VGA with 2MB video memory

* 256KB burst cache

* 1.44MB floppy disk drive

* Integrated Ethernet

* Parallel and serial ports


The system reports “No IDE disk detected.” No operating system is installed or available, and the computer stops at the “Insert system diskette” message. The floppy drive passed the built-in diagnostic; other drives and functions were not fully tested.


The computer case has a built-in lock, but the key is not available. Therefore, the case could not be opened, and no interior photos are provided. The side latches are broken. Please carefully review all photos for the exact condition.
