Vintage NeXTstation N1100 Computer Workstation w HDD & FDD Steve Jobs Powers On:
$299.95

Up for sale is a rare, highly collectible piece of early computing history: an original NeXTstation Computer Workstation (Model No: N1100 / Serial No: ABB0052791). This unit comes equipped with an internal hard drive and floppy disk drive, includes an AC power cord, and has been tested to power on.

Introduced by Steve Jobs' NeXT Computer, Inc., the NeXTstation "slab" is an iconic UNIX workstation powered by a Motorola 68040 processor. Featuring its classic magnesium/polycarbonate black case and a comprehensive array of rear I/O connectivity (SCSI, Serial, DSP, NeXT MegaPixel Display port, Thin Ethernet BNC, and RJ45), it is a prized center-piece candidate for vintage computer collectors, NeXTSTEP OS enthusiasts, or hardware restoration builders.

Condition Notes:

  • Functional Condition: Tested to Power On. When plugged into standard AC power, the internal power supply engages cleanly and indicator/fan activity is present. Because our bench technicians do not have specialized NeXT display monitors, sound boxes, ADB keyboards, or software diagnostic tools to work on legacy NeXT workstations, further testing (booting NeXTSTEP OS, reading/writing to the internal floppy or hard drive, video signal output, or internal memory diagnostics) has not been performed. Sold AS-IS for parts, repair, or full restoration.

  • Cosmetic Condition: Great vintage condition. The original black casing is structurally sound with clean corners, intact rubber feet, and a visible gold-tone emblem. Shows only light, expected signs of age-appropriate handling and shelf storage (such as minor surface scuffs or faint casing wear). All rear port connectors and pins are clean and free of damage. Please review the high-resolution photos for an exact look at the physical condition.
