Lot of seven vintage 5.25\" hard-sectored floppy disks from the North Star Horizon computing era, plus a hard plastic storage case with the Kaypro logo.


DISKS INCLUDED (7 total):

- 4 disks with handwritten labels, including references to \"NS-DOS,\" \"NS/SD 5.2 DOS,\" \"NS CPM 2.2,\" and \"NORTHSHARE\" — brands represented include Verbatim (MD550-10, MD-577-10, MD525-10) and Maxell (MH1)

- 3 disks with typed labels reading \"NORTHSHARE,\" each with a unique serial number (SN#0026, SN#0323, and one additional) and the notice \"COPYRIGHT (C) 1978 BY MARTIN G. REZMER\"


ABOUT NORTHSHARE:

NORTHSHARE was a commercially sold North Star BASIC timesharing package, advertised in Personal Computer World magazine (March 1979) by Byte Shop of Westminster / Interam Computer Systems Ltd. It allowed two to four terminals to share a single North Star system running North Star BASIC in timesharing mode, with a separate task supervisor handling bookkeeping. This confirms the software as a genuine period product rather than an unknown personal file — however, no manual, documentation, or packaging is included with this particular lot (disks only).


CONDITION:

Disks and the Kaypro storage case are in visibly clean, well-preserved physical condition — no mold, no significant scratching, no peeling labels observed.


Sold AS-IS / UNTESTED. I do not have period-correct hard-sector North Star hardware to verify readability or data integrity, and magnetic media of this age cannot be guaranteed to still hold data.
