Up for sale is a rare, vintage Profit Systems, Inc. ADDRAM PLUS Multifunction Memory Expansion Board. This is a classic 8-bit ISA expansion card designed for early IBM PC (5150), IBM XT (5160), and compatible retro desktop computer systems.
Features & Configurations:
- Fully populated with 4 rows of socketed vintage DRAM DIP memory chips.
- Integrated real-time clock with an onboard "DataSentry" battery module.
- Onboard DIP switch block for addressing, memory bank mapping, and configuration toggles.
- Silk screen markings on the PCB indicate jumper maps for "64K-256K" and "256K-512K" system adjustments.
- Features standard vintage 8-bit ISA gold edge connectors.
Condition:
This board is being sold UNTESTED / AS-IS. I do not have a working IBM PC/XT bench system to verify full functionality or address configurations. Visually, the board is in very clean cosmetic condition. All socketed DIP chips are firmly seated, the PCB traces are fully intact, and the bracket looks solid.
Note on battery: Due to the age of the onboard DataSentry battery component, it may require replacement or modification for continuous real-time clock retention.
Perfect addition for retro PC builders, IBM collectors, or vintage hardware preservationists looking to upgrade conventional memory capacities.
Please look closely at all photos before purchasing. Will ship enclosed securely inside an anti-static shield bag and heavily padded box. Thanks for looking!
