Rare original MicroPro International WordStar Professional software package specifically configured for the TRS-80 Model 4.

The package remains factory sealed in its original shrink wrap and has not been opened. This is an especially desirable survivor for collectors of early Radio Shack/Tandy computers, CP/M software, and vintage word-processing software.

The original rear labels identify the software as:

  • WordStar Professional Release 3.30 – CP/M-80
  • StarIndex – CP/M-80
  • SpellStar – CP/M-80
  • MailMerge – CP/M-80

The spine retains the original orange “WordStar Pro Pack – TRS-80 Model 4” identification label.

WordStar was one of the most important word-processing programs of the early personal-computer era. WordStar Professional combined the core WordStar program with additional productivity utilities. Contemporary descriptions identify MailMerge as the form-letter/mass-mailing component and StarIndex as the indexing/table-of-contents utility.

Condition: Factory sealed vintage new-old-stock software. Original shrink wrap remains intact overall. There is age-related wrinkling/looseness to the shrink wrap, particularly around the edges and binder opening, as shown in the photographs. Because the package remains sealed, the internal contents have not been inspected or tested. Please review all photographs for exact cosmetic condition.
