knx-hdinstall gives error in X

I have installed knoppix by knx-hdinstall, but it doesnt work properly. After it enters init 5 level, my screen just start flickering. Is that a problem of resolution ?? How do I overcome this? I had also installed Knoppix with same CD but at that time everything was working fine. Are there any options I need to give while installing knoppix on harddisk

boot from cd, save the /etc/X11/XF86config-4 file, and compare it with your hd-install - XF86... -file.

Use diff or kdiff.
diff file1 file2 | less

replace the hd- with the cd-file.
