RARE early 1984 Original MacWrite and MacPaint Boxed Set for the first Macintosh 128K Model M0001! This is the veryfirst software package for the original Macintosh computer offered by Apple! Very nice and collectible rare early Mac software set in the original Apple retail box, 39years old and only will get harder to find in this condition complete with original early first version manuals and original software disks. Complete your original Macintosh collection with this early original Apple retail boxed set of original Apple Mac software.
First releasedin January 1984 atthe same time the original Macintosh computer was introduced, this boxed set was only available in the first half of 1984. Later in 1984, Apple stopped offering this set separately and the disks and manuals then just came along with the Macintosh in the system starter kit, not as a separate boxed software set like this.Includes the original box, with the white plastic tray holder with Apple embossed logos inside, original MacWrite and MacPaint disks, A Guided Tour of MacWrite and MacPaint disk (which includes also usable versions of Write and Paint), and the original A Guided Tour or MacWrite and MacPaint audio cassette. Disks are early 400K single-sided original Apple disks, some wear to the labels and some white-out on the one label as shown. Box has some spotting and on the front and some denting as shown. The box corners are not torn or split apart like often seen on these, and is still nice and solid. Inner white tray is clean and undamaged with the embossed Apple logos.
Spiral-bound MacWrite manual, and original MacPaint manual. Manuals are both the earliest first print versions as indicated by the copyright dates of 1983 as shown and the part number on the back of with no letter after the part number. Later printings were from 1984 and added a suffix (A, B, etc.) after the part number on the back cover as the manuals were revised. Both manuals are complete and unmarked inside, crisp and clean condition. Box has no torn or split apart corners.
