Full recap includes replacing all leaking electrolytic capacitors on both logic and analog boards. Images of our work is included in the listing.The CRT is bright, sharp, stable and free of burn in. The internal floppy disk has been cleaned, lubricated and tested to work great. All four rubber feet are in good shape.
The condition is very nice, other than some minor yellowing, and a few very minor nicks, the case is in good shape. No cracks, chips, or prymarks.
This Mac Classic II is a real joy to operate, it boots up quickly with a nice chime and the sound is loud and clear.
The Mac Classic II is the last black and white compact Mac. It has one of the smallest logic boards out of all the compact Mac's. There are 17 leaking SMD capacitors that wreak havoc on these tiny boards. The same goes for the analog board which has over 20 leaking through hole capacitors.As these Mac's age, getting a Classic Mac restored and recapped successfully is becoming harder and requiring more work than just a simple recap.Here is your worry free fully recapped and restored Mac Classic II.
