- This cpu can't support X38/X48/Q35/Q45/945 chip's mainboard. Installing the processor in incompatible chipsets can damage your motherboard.
- Your motherboard must support 1333 MHz in the FSB.
- Your motherboard should support quad-core processors.
Unsupported motherboards G31,G33, P35, P41, P965: Intel DG33TL, Intel DG33FBC, KP561(only C0), DP25DP, TP412, Clevo D901C.
Nforce 680i and 650i chipsets from Nvidia do not officially support 45nm processors. Some motherboards with these chipsets worked with 45nm quad-core Xeon, and some do not. Ask me, I will prompt you.
