This listing is for an address switch from a MITS Altair 8800b. The switch is an original switch shipped with the altair in 1978 but hadbeen removed because the paddle placement is not quite symmetric. As seen in the photographs it hangs a little to one side when viewed from above and was not aligned with the others in the row when switched off. there does not seem to be anything else wrong with the switch other than these cosmetic items which bothered me just enough to have it exchanged. It is an AmericanU.S.A. ST1-1, 6A @ 125VAC, 3A @ 250VAC.This is a single pole double throw ON-ON in the original orangebody. This is a flat, long, paddleswitch for the 8800b, not the round switch of the 8800. It is also longer than paddle switches youfind today. It was removed from thefront panel using a hot-air rework station with the air being applied from theopposite side of the board as the switch and, therefore, the leads were notoverheated.
