RARE Vintage Soyo PW-9800 (Cyrix MediaGX @233 MHz, 64 MB RAM, Win98SE):

This sale is for a vintage Soyo PW-9800. This laptop was donated to me by the original owner. It has been tested to power on and boot into Windows 98 Second Edition. The original battery does hold a charge but the longevity has not been tested. The OEM AC adapter is included. Several other accessories are included as well:1 x Soyo branded laptop case1 x External CD-ROM adapter1 x PCMCIA card1 x Modem cable1 x External floppy drive adapter.
Cosmetic wise: The laptop chassis is pretty fragile but it is in good condition. The plastic cover for the battery has a broken tab so it will fall off if the laptop is lifted in a certain way. The left screen hinge cover cracked off and was unable to be fixed. There is a crack forming on the HDD bay screw hole. All of the rubber feet are intact. The keyboard and palm rest are in good condition. The plastic I/O covers are missing and there is a small piece missing from the right hinge cover. The left latch hook has broken off.Performance wise: The laptop will start slow from a cold boot but will start performing better after warming up. The internal HDD is getting old which can lead to moments of sluggishness. Performance drops are to be expected when using vintage hardware and software.
