Includes:
  • Rare, original TI laptop and Windows 3.1 user manuals
  • Rare, original TI laptop bag in good condition
  • Original AC power adapter/charger - NON-FUNCTIONAL
  • Original Microsoft mouse.

What\'s bad:
  • Both the NiCad battery pack and AC adapter are bad.
  • LCD Screen is delaminating and unreadable.
  • POSTs but will not boot due to apparent internal HDD failure.
  • Keyboard is also apparently non-functional.

What\'s good:
  • Laptop case is clean, no cracks or deformations.
  • Keyboard is clean.
  • Includes rare original TI user\'s manuals plus TI-logo laptop carry bag.
  • I removed the dead battery and cautiously attached a current limiting 6VDC power supply to the battery terminals, and it powers up. Because the LCD display is shot, I attached an external VGA monitor plus keyboard and the BIOS does post so the mainboard looks good. The machine tries to boot but it appears the internal hard drive is failed as well. It\'s also obvious the internal button battery supporting CMOS config memory is dead as well.   • Machine is currently unusable and being sold as-is for parts or restoration only. Note my excellent rating and longevity. This was not achieved by cutting corners, I take great pride in being an ethical seller and have done my best represent this laptop\'s current condition and state.
  • External bench power supply used for testing and shown is not included in this sale.
  • System will be carefully bubble wrapped and shipped in a sturdy carton.
  • No overseas buyers please and no shipments outside of the USA.
  • I will not ship this machine via US Postal Service due to prior mishandling of shipments.
  • I also won\'t accept returns due to experience with unethical buyers that purchased a system, swapped in failed parts and then demanded a return and refund! Sadly, it\'s always a few bad eggs that make life difficult for the rest of us....
