Vintage Macintosh Powerbook 540c (color) "Blackbird"

You are offerding on a vintage Macintosh PowerBook 540c laptop computer. It has 8 megabytes of RAM. It's running OS 7.5. The color active matrix screen is bright for a computer this age. The keyboard and trackpad are responsive. The door that covers the ports on the back is there and works. The speakers are loud and clear. The hinges are strong and the plastics are intact.

Software installed includes Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Carmen Sandiego, Monopoly, Jewelbox, Prince of Persia and other software. Sorry, no discs included.

The batteries don’t hold a charge. It powers up with an adapter which is included so you don’t have to purchase separately, if you can find one. The latch for the LCD is missing. The PRAM battery is also dead, which means that you will have to reset the clock and adjust the contrast settings after the computer starts. There is normal wear and tear consistent with a computer of this age. Look at the photos.
