Vintage Commodore Amiga 2000HD Computer w/A2620 Accelerator, SCSI HDD, KeyboardHere is a Vintage Commodore Amiga 2000HD computer, tested and working with the following installed:
On-Board ceramic 68010 CPU, a slight bump in speed from the stock 68000 w/ 1mb CHIP RAM (the system does not use this with the accelerator installed but it can be used during startup with a bypass command)Commodore A2620 CPU Accelerator Card (68020 @ 14mhz, also has 68881 FPU and 2MB RAM)Commodore A2052 RAM Board (2MB RAM)Commodore A209 SCSI Hard Card w/ Quantum Pro Drive (working)Original Commodore 2000 Keyboard (unknown which mech but it feels nice and clacky)Dual Floppy Drives (right one works as DF0, left one doesn't seem to work or may need to be configured)
The A2000 is running Kickstart 2.04, so would also support a Workbench 2 install. The HDD has WB 1.3 installed along with a ton of random programs and utilities. I did not attempt to format or re-load anything on this as these drives can be fragile. As I currently only have one Amiga mouse to share amongst my system, no mouse is included. Those are much easier to find than keyboards (and adapters exist for USB and PS/2 mice if you want to take that route). Even without a mouse, with the keyboard you can move the curser around the screen and generally poke around workbench. You'll need a joystick (anything C= or Atari compatible) to play games. Look for my listing coming up for an Amiga Gravis Gamepad.
As you can see, the explosive barrel battery was removed early enough where there is little to no damage, I didn't see any other damage on the board either.Physical Appearance- Computer is fairly clean, but there are some scuffs, scrapes and scratches of course. Quite a few of the case screws are missing but I will attempt to locate. The accelerator card is also missing the screws for the back port cover. The keyboard is a bit dirty and could use a deep clean. Overall its in good condition and would be a good starting point if you wanted to make a hot rod 2000.Test Results - This A2000HD has been tested to boot on the original Quantum Hard Card into Workbench 1.3 It shows there is 4mb of RAM and I can run programs (like OctoMED). I have not done extensive burn-in testing or anything beyond basic operation. All the keys seem to work on the keyboard. All vintage computing and electronics items are sold as/is (unless otherwise stated), no returns or exchanges on this 40 year old computer. Please don't offer or buy if you don't agree with these terms! Thanks for looking!
