Repurposed and upgraded 1U rack-mountable CheckPoint network appliance with Quad-core Intel Core i5-4590S 3.0GHz AES-NI capable processor, 8GB DDR3 RAM, ten 100/1000Mbps Network ports (built-in Intel I211), 128GB SATA SSD with the latest release of pfSense Community Edition software pre-installed by default (alternatively can be shipped with OPNsense software pre-installed by buyer's request).
This unit comes with Lights Out Management card that allows remote system hardware management and monitoring.
There are 3 free memory slots available for memory upgrade, also up to eight copper 1Gbps network ports or four fiber 10Gbps (software compatibility is not tested for the last one) can be added with appropriate Check Point CPAC I/O module.
